All schools in the Bibb County School District will be open for students Thursday, May 15, 2008, and end of the year testing will continue, including Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and End of Course Tests. (Schools re-opening Thursday are indicated in bold.)

• Southwest High School Zone: Southwest High, Ballard-Hudson Middle, Hartley Elementary, Ingram-Pye Elementary, Bloomfield Middle, Barden Elementary, Burghard Elementary, and Rice Elementary will be open for students Thursday.
• Other Bibb County Schools: Butler Early Childhood Center, Elam Alexander Academy, Hutchings Career Center, Neel Academy, and Renaissance Academy/Teen Parent Center will be open Thursday for students.
• Central High School Zone: Central High, Miller Middle, Alexander II Magnet, Burke Elementary, Lane Elementary, Taylor Elementary, Vineville Academy, and Williams Elementary will be open for students Thursday.
• Northeast High School Zone: Northeast High, Appling Middle, Bernd Elementary, Burdell-Hunt Magnet, Jones Elementary, and King-Danforth Elementary will be open for students Thursday.
• Westside High School Zone: Howard Middle, Brookdale Elementary, Carter Elementary, Springdale Elementary, Weaver Middle, Heritage, Morgan Elementary, Riley Elementary, and Union Elementary will be open for students Thursday. NOTE: Westside students will not return to school at Westside for the remainder of the year. Westside students will be attending at the Rutland Campus following the alternating day schedule below.
• Rutland High School Zone: Bruce Elementary, Heard Elementary, Porter Elementary, and Skyview Elementary will be open for students Thursday. NOTE: Rutland Middle & High Students will NOT attend school Thursday; they will follow the alternating day schedule below.

Rutland Middle, Rutland High and Westside High Schools

Due to the extensive damage at Westside High, students cannot return to school at Westside for the remainder of the year. Westside students will be attending school every other day at the Rutland Campus. Please follow the schedule below :
