| The body of a man missing after a
weekend boating accident on West Point Lake has been recovered but
searchers still haven't found the boat.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources spokeswoman Jennifer
Barnes says 57-year-old William Andrews of Newnan surfaced shortly
before 5 p.m. Tuesday about 300 yards east of the Horace King Park
area of the lake. Andrews had been missing since the boat carrying
him and his brother-in-law sank for unknown reasons while they
were fishing Sunday evening.
A person who answered the phone Tuesday at West Georgia Medical
Center said the brother-in-law, 56-year-old Michael Ramburg of
Covington, was listed in critical condition.
