Coach Struck By Lightening Getting Better

Hospital officials say the condition of Warner Robins Middle School athletic director Mike Martin has been upgraded from critical to serious. Martin is still being treated at the Burn Center in Augusta.

Martin and 11 others were hit by lightning at a football game.

The game between Warner Robins Middle School and Feagin Mill Middle School being played at Bonaire was at halftime Thursday evening when a storm erupted.

Nine adults and three children were taken to either Houston Medical Center, Perry Hospital or the Joseph M. Still Jr. Burn Center in Augusta. All except for Martin have been released.
