WR Coach Now Upgraded To Fair Condition

For the second time in as many days, hospital officials in Augusta have upgraded the condition of Warner Robins Middle School athletic director Mike Martin. The coach, struck by lightening last Thursday, has now been upgraded to fair condition at the Burn Center in Augusta.

Martin and 11 others were hit by lightning at a football game.

The game between Warner Robins Middle School and Feagin Mill Middle School being played at Bonaire was at halftime Thursday evening when a storm erupted.

Nine adults and three children were taken to either Houston Medical Center, Perry Hospital or the Joseph M. Still Jr. Burn Center in Augusta. All except for Martin have been released.
