| Some bad news has been
delivered to the State Department of Transportation.
The department has a 456-million-dollar deficit.
Earlier this month when state auditors were
wrapping up their work, the deficit seemed to be on the decline.
Then, some contract and change orders amounting
to 350-million dollars were discovered that had not been entered
into the state's accounting system.
