| DayJet Services has
announced it has discontinued service to the Macon Downtown
Airport.
The jet service, which started Macon service
seven months ago, said all future flights have been cancelled and
that no refunds will be issued.
In a statement issued on their website, DayJet
said the cancellation of services are
"a result of the company’s inability to arrange critical
financing in the midst of the current global financial crisis.
"
DayJet
Services, LLC was the world's first operator of "Per-Seat,
On-Demand" jet service, which served over 60 communities
across the SouthEast..
