HELP PROGRAM A LEGENDARY NEWS/TALK STATION!!
Cumulus Broadcasting in Macon, GA is now interviewing for an unpaid college intern with News Talk 940 WMAC.
It is not required, but students will be able earn college credit while gaining invaluable experience in a variety of areas such as producing a live talk show, programming a news/talk station, editing audio and sound effects, database usage, networking, and creative thinking.
Our internship program will provide you with an opportunity to combine your hard earned book learning with some necessary real world experience with one of the leading broadcast companies in the Southeastern market.
Potential candidates should be prepared to work 15-25 hours per week in a fun and up-beat environment where no two days are the same. Interns are required to participate in some office hours at least two to three days a week and may do some work from home as well.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must currently be an undergraduate college student
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist with producing “KROKTALK with Chris Krok” Morning Show
- Assist Program Director in his duties
- Researching, Data Entry, Audio Production
