The same update also places “Carry On” at No. 20 on Country Airplay, adding to Chesney’s long history at country radio. With that debut, he ties George Strait for the most appearances on the Country Airplay chart, with 100 entries each.
Chesney’s chart history stretches back decades and includes 33 No. 1 songs on Country Airplay, the most by any artist since the chart began. His latest entry puts him in rare company on Hot Country Songs, joining a small group of acts who have reached triple digits on the chart.
